Midwest Activities

An important part of Sahaja Meditation is collectivity. Meditating together is only one aspect of being collective: we try to get together for pot luck dinners, birthday parties and the like, to just share vibrations and the joy of being together. On a larger scale, we also organise events such as the Winter Tour and Memorial Day Weekend Camping.

Winter Tour
A relatively new tradition among the Sahaja Meditation practitioners of the US Midwest is to escape the harsh Midwest winters by making a road trip to the southern states. In addition to fostering closer ties among participating yogis, the Winter Tour provides an opportunity to spread the word about Sahaja Meditation. Memorial Day Weekend Camping
The US Midwest collective hosts a Memorial Day Weekend camp, attended by yogis from all over the US. This is time for fostering closer ties among yogis, but can also be a deep experience for newer seekers to the Sahaja family.
